Custom scopes to suit a 16:9 ratio screen (like 1920X1080) and have a round scope view.
The files are just the standard types but have been adjusted on the width using a new guide.
Author of the Guide and the resulting files is INsane (Sturmbot.org) The guide for these can be downloaded here.
Optional config in "extra userconfig for full screen" folder
Make sure you look at the optional userconfig.cfg file for a method of having your scope file full screen instead of the scope issue with no full back outs.
It's just a FOV (field of view) bind and script so you can turn it off and on when you have a sniper.
Be cautious with that script if you play on Leagues. It should be fine on Pub servers... I have no idea why anyone would be upset about a FOV script when it is using default settings in your Options - Video panel of the GUI. As we know some server admins are that dumb.
Install the userconfig.cfg in Half-Lifedod_addon
Already have a userconfig.cfg? copy whats in that one and place it in yours.
This what they look like on without the widescreen FOV fix (gl_widescreen_yfov 0) set to OFF....

British scope | Axis Scope | US Scope |
That result can be obtained via setting... gl_widescreen_yfov "1" to "0".
On gl_widescreen_yfov "1" you will still see missing borders and that is a ValVe issue from the Nov 2023 25th anniversary update that STILL has not been fixed and likely...maybe NEVER WILL.
In the extreme cases a 21:9 screen on standard files and default setting gl_widescreen_yfov "1" looks like this ...

Now...that looks like cheating to me.
Use these new files and the script to make your dod look like it should.
***To Install the scope files***
The files are already in the correct folders, you just need to find your "Half-Life" folder and place them in the same way.
Go to your Steam Library, Right click on the dod icon.
Select "Manage" then "Browse Local files"
The Half-Life folder will come up.
Make sure the files in the downloads go in the same folder structure, e.g.: the "dod_addon" folder must go in the Half-Life folder.
