These maps normally evolve with many versions until the community feedback has beaten all the bugs out. This version is still in progress but it really is good enough to put on a server and enjoy.
Lerfooled makes some subtle variances to routes, normally only the ones that always annoyed you.
It results in a familiar but better experience on the adjusted map.
Waypoints…This map is advanced enough now to offer a download and some waypoints.
I have altered (imported and saved) Martee’s Sturmbot waypoints for “new_bot” in this download.
First find your “Half-Life” folder…
1. Open your Steam Library
2. Right-click on the “Day of Defeat” icon
3. Select “Manage” > “Browse local files” ….
4. A folder called “Half-Life” will pop-up
In the “Half-Life” folder you can install custom content in “dod” or these special folders…that act like a “dod” folder just be aware that it does matter where you place them…
• For maps ONLY use… “Half-Life/dod_downloads”
• For models, GUI and HUD, config files use… “Half-Life/dod_addon”
• For mods like bots, metamod, AMX use… “Half-Life/dod”
The Map files
The folder “dod_downloads” has all the files.
That folder will be in your “Half-Life” directory
Place the files inside the download folder into your “dod_downloads”
e.g.: Your drive:SteamLibrarysteamappscommonHalf-Lifedod_downloads
Waypoints
For new_bot the files are in the correct folders in the download folder “new_bot waypoint”
Just find the “new_bot” install in your “dod” folder and place them the same as they are in the download.
e.g.: Your drive:SteamLibrarysteamappscommonHalf-Lifedodnew_bot

It’s a metamod plugin bot for dod, it can use Sturmbot waypoints… read more here…
